Some might remember Angela Lansbury in the 1992 movie Mrs ‘Arris Goes to Paris, saving all her pennies and flying to Paris in search of the perfect Christian Dior dress. Why? Because it was a dream. It was special, meaningful and above all it was the appreciation of owning something so exquisite and beautiful.
Even if that special dress only gets warn once, the emotion of what it meant, how it made you feel and the memory it provokes will stay with you forever... The memory of a wedding, a graduation, Christmas with family or other special occasion. It becomes part of the celebration, captured in photographs and entwined in history... To look back on and think “gee I loved that dress”
But like all dress love stories it's so important to never have regrets. For years to come, you will always remember the dress you let go, the one that broke your heart and the one that mended it.
So our advice is, when you find a dress you love, grab it with both hands and say "you’re mine". Because loving a dress that loves you back is priceless.
Love, Pink Ink X
