On a recent trip to Melbourne we were so inspired by the street art, little laneways and abundance of cafes that we had to share a few of our favourite photos from our street adventures. We got lost in the colourful graphic art painted on the buildings and the culture around us. We stumbled across the most gorgeous florist, stopped to smell the roses and learnt how to balance in our heels on the cobblestones.
We think this may be love.............

Colour me KATE SPADE...
Welcome to the colourful world of Kate and the woman who inspired the labels year of pattern......
Most of you know of the eccentric and colourful Australian designer, Florence Broadhurst, who opened a wallpaper studio in 1959 where she created hundreds of hand-printed patterns in bold colours and striking prints... all representing her outrageous personality. Long after the life of Florence, her designs have lived on, inspiring fashion and interior design...
Kate Spade has always admired the work of Florence Broadhurst and the label leapt at the opportunity to work with her library of bold prints. 'The Florence Broadhurst Tour' is Kate Spade NEW YORK’s Spring 2012 pop-up shop, taking to the road to tour America filled with favourite pieces from their Spring collection. The tour bus was inspired by the spirit of their favourite musical icons like Blondie and The Supremes... Now this is a tour we would love to see.
Keep an eye out as we bring you more of Kate Spade’s year of pattern.

Dreamy Delfina Delettrez...
This fourth generation Fendi, who refers to Karl Lagerfeld as “Like an Uncle” (lucky her) proves that creativity and flair is clearly a genetic gift. Delfina Delettrez launched her first jewellery collection in October 2007 at Colette, Paris... And since then, all her collections were born out of her symbols... The alphabet of her generation, dreams, passions, travels and experiences. Taking what others may think of as peculiar and working them into surreal jewels that are flashy, bold, powerful, gothic, romantic and passionate... Always with a twist of 'Rock and Roll'.. And we do love a bit of 'Rock and Roll.' It's nice to see soul and meaning in design...

Under the weather...
Sometimes life will throw us some bad weather... And boy, haven’t we had some lately. But there is something so cleansing about rain that makes everything after seem new again. It makes it ok to move at a slower pace, relax on your favourite chair with a good book or magazine and the grey outside just calls for a lit candle and peace. There should be a rain day at least once a week, just so we can take a step back and find time for ourselves.
Here are some cosy interiors that inspire us to embrace the drizzle outside and find comfort in the simple things around us.
